Vatican releases papal Mass booklet for 500 years of Catholic faith in Philippines... Read more]]> The Vatican has released a copy of the Mass booklet that will be used for this Sunday's Papal Mass to mark 500 years of Catholic faith in the Philippines.

Published by the Office of the Liturgical Celebrations of the Supreme Pontiff, the booklet contains texts and songs in Italian, English, Filipino, Cebuano and Latin.

The Mass will be held at St. Peter's Basilica at 10 a.m. (5 p.m. in the Philippines).

Fr. Gregory Gaston, rector of the Pontifical Filipino College in Rome, said the service will be on the Altar of the Chair of St. Peter "so slots are extremely limited".

Gaston is also the Italian bishops' coordinator for the pastoral care of overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) in Italy.
