A 78-year-old widower married to his first wife for 55 years, wanted to marry a never-married, lifelong Catholic in her sixties.

They planned to marry in the Catholic Church. But The priest insisted that they attend marriage preparation classes offering information ranging from Natural Family Planning to how to manage a household budget. So they hoofed it across the street to the Lutheran church.
